Christmas Do with a difference

Fez3Saturday 5th December saw us celebrating the beginning of Christmas and raising money at the same time.  It all started at Topsham, where we boarded Stuart Line Cruise from Topsham along the estuary to Exmouth, returning by train, all in aid of FORCE. Fez and beards were the order of the day, lots of singing and merriment were had and all for a good cause.

The weather wasn’t too bad, despite the wind, the water was actually quite calm and fortunately the bar area was heated.

Not all the team were able to join us as there was a removal on Saturday from Exmouth to London, and then on Sunday a local removal to and from Exeter. We’re sure that we will have a little Christmas get together with everyone, to celebrate the end of a great year and toast to an even better 2016.

Count to Christmas

Cowick Street, Exeter are switching their Christmas lights on this evening. We hope everyone that goes has a fun filled evening. We are also hoping there isn’t too much traffic and it doesn’t stop our hard working removal men from arriving back on time and enjoying a little festive free time before their busy day tomorrow, with removals in the local area and further afield. As in previous years as the lights are switched on in and around the shopping centre, the trees will be lit up in succession to provide a warm welcome for everyone. The Big Switch on is at 7pm, with entertainment provided for shoppers from 4pm in the Cowick Street Shopping Precinct.  Let’s hope it stays dry so we all can enjoy the Countdown to Christmas.
