The snow may have slowed things up on Friday for some but not the crew at Team Removals.
The team exceeded customer expectations once again when they not only made sure all the Removals were completed safely despite the snow but also got the boss on board clearing the snow on a customers drive in Newton Abbot to ensure the move could go ahead as planned.
Its all about working together when the snow sets in and as always our team were determined not to let anyone down.
The bosses photography skills weren’t too bad either!
With the festivities growing ever closer we have had a busy week here at Team Removals, and we were determined not to the let the wind and rain dampen our spirits whilst completing moves in Exeter, Dawlish, Newton Abbot and further afield.
Now the team are looking forward to a well earned break and hoping for a little snow on Christmas day.
All the staff at Team Removals and Storage would like to wish our wonderful customers past, present and future a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Well the second heatwave didn’t hit as expected and there’s a definite chill in the air. Too early to say Summer is over??
The nights are drawing in and we’ve again been travelling far and wide. Enquiries are flooding in for removals to France and we are planning a couple of removals from store to Spain.
Last Saturday we had a photo shoot for our revamped website due shortly. You can put a face to who you will be working with should you choose us to remove you. Mind you, its not meant to put you off!! Enjoy your weekend and Good Luck to the Exeter Chiefs who take on Sale Sharks tomorrow at home at Sandy Park.
After the Bank Holiday, time always seems to go a bit slower, but not at Team Removals. On a beautiful day like today the boys have a removal to do together, doesn’t often happen. Removal from Store to Ogwell on a beautiful summer day – life can’t be too bad.
This weekend sees the start of the long awaited Rugby season – hooray. Exeter Chiefs are at home to Leicester Tigers. #COYC
A full week of removals next week. A few out of County too, Warwick and Hampshire, beest insure the lads take their passports!!
Back to reality now for our Surveyor Gary Haley. Last week he was galavanting around transporting a horse from Teignmouth to France and now we are keeping him busy, running around Devon booked in for Free Quotations. We like to keep him busy!
We have had a lot of enquiries lately from people wanting to move to France, not sure if this is to do with Brexit or not but there seems to be a trend of moving across the water. Surely can’t be for better weather, as we have had some glorious weather here ourselves, almost like being abroad.
Monday we are off to Lossiemouth, from one end of the map to another. Will be sending the lads with a shopping list, tablet, Edinburgh rock, shell pies, slice….ooh the list is endless.
Don’t forget to keep hydrated.
This weather reminds our very own Fiona of the Heatwave that hit London for the Virgin London Marathon back in April. Fiona originally from Greenock, who now lives in Kingsteignton completed the the hottest London Marathon in 5hours 29minutes and 32seconds. Disappointed with her time as many were, she still ordered a memento of the ‘horrible’ day that took her past the Cutty Sark, over Tower Bridge and accross the finish line (eventually) at The Mall.
So as many of us bask in the Summer sunshine, remember to slip, slop, slap – slip on protective clothing, slop on the suncream and slap on a hat and if your running or taking any exercise, keep hydrated.
Ok, I needed a favour. I am a huge Exeter Chiefs fan and for the first time am off to Twickenham for the Final. Having seen the sale of Final T-shirts, asked my boss – Gary Haley of Team Removals and Storage, if he could please go and get a couple for me. Being the kind gent that he is, off he went. Sadly, T-shirts aren’t in yet, however, he did send this to me – rubbing it in…. only the legend that is Thomas Waldrom.
Belinda, Gary and all the Team at Team Removals (especially me) wish the Exeter Chiefs lads all the very best for Saturday. COYC
On Monday, Belinda and Gary were invited to Bristol to collect an award from the National Guild of Removers as a certified Elite Honours Remover. The award is in recognition for our continuous exemplary and outstanding customer service record over the period of 6 years that we have been in membership of the National Guild of Removers & Storers as well as the Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme.
This award is the highest achieveable by removers that have been members of both named organisations for 6 years.
We could not have done or achieved this without the Team behind the scenes and the lads on the road. Congratulations everyone for your hard work and continued outstanding customer service.
This weekend also sees the Devon County Show and with a mini heatwave expected, the crowds should be attending in their droves. The Exeter Chiefs take on Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Semi-Finals 3.30pm at Sandy Park on Saturday COYC.
There is also another event…… oh yes, the Royal Wedding. We at Team Removals wish Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the best for the future.
Our very own Fiona ran in the Virgin London Marathon. The hottest on record. “It was brutal” “the heat was a huge factor in peoples times and most were down on their predicted times by 30minutes to an hour” Fiona was running for Cystic Fibrosis as her daughter has the condition. Busy week next week the the usual removals, then its Bank Holiday. Hopefully a heatwave to enjoy an ice cream in Exmouth.
Busy week at Team Removals, we welcome Michelle French to the Team. Michelle will work alongside Fiona and together will assist you with your removal.
This week we have had a variety of moves, into Store, direct Nottingham from Yeoford with packing and removal from storage to Lancaster, so plenty to keep our lads busy.
We would like to wish Fiona All the best – Fiona is taking on the London Marathon this Sunday 22nd April and is not looking forward to the heat, however, we are sure she will complete the mission.
