Exeter Cathedral – Exeter Christmas Market
Exeter Cathedral is delighted to announce that for the first time it will host a Christmas Market on Cathedral Green this year.
The Market will run from Friday 23 November until Sunday 16 December:
Mon – Wed, 10am – 8pm
Thurs – Sat, 10am – 9pm
Sun, 11am – 5pm
The market will open from 6pm on the opening day only.
The Cathedral Green, at the heart of the city centre, will be brought to life by the Market, with stalls offering unique, handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food items – everything needed for a perfect Christmas celebration and to create a real Christmas buzz at the heart of the city.
Although inspired by Continental Markets, the majority of traders on the Exeter Christmas Market will represent the best of what Britain and the South West region has to offer – with a mix of great food, excellent crafts, unique gifts and decorations.
The iconic Cathedral occupies a special place in the heart of Exeter. It has been the focus of life in the city for centuries. The Cathedral look forward to welcoming Exeter residents and city visitors to The Close to enjoy the atmosphere of this unique Market, which will end with a wonderful Exeter Nativity Procession heralding the start of the celebratory Christmas season.
There is a spooky feel in the air today as many trick-or-treaters take to the streets.
Have a great time and stay safe !!
Don’t forget the clocks go back one hour on Sunday!!!

On 10th July 2012, we under took a challenging removal from The Old Toll House in Teignmouth. The Toll house was built in the early 1800’s by the Teignmouth and Dawlish Turnpike Trust. It has survived the bridge collapsing twice and is still proudly standing today. With this in mind, our Team carefully removed the goods from the house and placed them safely into storage.
Team Removals would like to wish everyone a great bank holiday!!
With removals in Exeter, Exmouth & Torquay next week , our removals team will definitely need the extra days’ rest ready for the week.
Best Wishes to all!!
